Prof. Cecil Ouma, a 2019 Next Einstein Forum Fellow, is the Academic and Research Manager at AIMS Research and Innovation Centre, leading research on energy systems, climate technologies, and digital innovation. With a PhD in Computational Physics and a Master’s in Energy Leadership underway at WITS Business School, his work focuses on materials for energy, just energy transitions, and future fuels. He currently specializes in applying Generative AI and Digital Twins to advance energy planning and climate solutions, in addition to graph neural networks to design Adaptive Catalysts for Environmental Applications.
