Jacinta Were Lwanga is a seasoned Human Resource and Leadership Consultant with over 30 years of work experience across corporate, banking, NGO, Consultancy, and Parastatal Institutions in East Africa. She has a passion for positive leadership and is the author of the Book “HOW NOT TO LEAD”, which challenges the misuse of power, the neglect of people and the ethical blind spots in leadership that derail organizations from within. A former Head of Human Resources at Consolidated Bank of Kenya limited and a Group Human Resources Manager at CMC Holdings Ltd, she is respected for strengthening people practices and aligning HR strategy with organizational purpose and performance. She holds an MBA, a Bachelor of Arts, and a Higher National Diploma in Human Resources Management. She is a Certified Coach and Mediator and a member of the Institute of Human Resources Management and the Institute of Directors.
