Priscilya Nibekwa Othman is a strategic human resources leader with 14 years of experience in banking, specialising in talent, learning, performance management, leadership development and organizational capability. She is currently Head of Talent, Learning and Leadership at National Bank of Commerce Limited, part of Absa Group, where she leads initiatives that strengthen workforce capability, leadership pipelines and organizational performance. Throughout her career, Priscilya has partnered with senior leaders to shape talent and workforce strategies, support organizational transformation, and develop stronger succession pipelines. Her work includes launching programs to enhance talent, expanding talent reviews across the bank, mobilizing mobility for learning,  modernizing onboarding, and supporting digital people transformation through the Workday Cloud system. Under her leadership, NBC’s internship programme received national recognition from the Government of Tanzania in 2020 and 2025. Priscilya holds an MSc in Human Resources and Training from the University of Leicester and a Certificate in Directorship from the Institute of Directors in Tanzania. She is a Certified Human Resource Management Professional who is passionate about building inclusive workplaces and helping organisations turn people strategies into meaningful business outcomes.
